Jacob has been involved in grappling sports for the last 17 years. He started with wrestling in Maryland when he was 12 years old. After leaving graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served on submarines. He found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while stationed in Washington where he recieved his blue belt. He moved to Charleston, SC where he finished his 10 years of active duty and trained under Elijah Fletcher where he achieved his purple belt. After transitioning to the USN Reserves he relocated to Ashford where he has recieved his brown belt from Prof. Joshua Cheek. He began training Judo while in SC and has received his brown belt from Sensi Frankie Bey. He has won many competitions in both Judo and BJJ in various states.
